Gorgeous day. Ended up going to the grand opening of the Children's Garden at the State Botanical Garden of Georgia.
The new garden is really artsy and ambitious, full of tactile activities that connect little kids to gardening. I love the playground they have (and took a ride down the twisty slide, much to the consternation of the attendants). I hope to return soon to take a look around when it's not covered with people.
The Bot Garden is a place I love to visit (and super close by!) The conservatory of tropical plants is my favorite area there, though it is really hard to choose one! I've hiked all the trails there too. The longest one, the White Trail, is 3.22 miles. They're all easy to walk and a nice escape for an hour or two.
